Five secret rays

The five secret rays are Light emanations from God that originate in the white-fire core of being.

In the Hub (the center of the Spirit-Matter cosmos) and in the heart of every atom, the Spiritual Sun and the physical sun coexist. Here in the white-fire core, the simultaneous manifestation of Spirit and Matter provides the necessary components for creation. Here and only here can creation be born.

Eleven concentric rings surround the core of God’s Being. These, together with the center, make up the twelve planes of consciousness found in the Atom of God—seven outer rays and five “secret” rays.

The rings of the five secret rays are found between the white-fire core and the yellow band. These planes do not pertain to existence as we know it upon this earth, but rather to man’s latent divinity, which remains unrealized except by the few Avatars who have risen even beyond the levels of initiation required for the attainment of Christhood.

The full knowledge and use of the secret rays by the evolutions of this world has not been authorized by the Solar Lords, who require the planetary mastery of the seven planes of the Christ consciousness through the seven color rays before the powers of the secret rays are conferred upon evolving humanity. Therefore, the white-fire core and the six spheres beyond the five secret rays are the planes that relate to the evolution of God’s consciousness as humanity in their present evolution are able to experience and express it.

The planes of the secret rays are actually perpendicular to the planes of the seven rays. For this reason they are not shown on the causal body in the Chart of Your Divine Self, although they exist as potential in the causal body of every son and daughter of God made in the divine likeness .

We can invoke the ascended master who is known as Mighty Cosmos to release the action of the secret rays in our behalf that they will spiritualize consciousness in the planes of Matter.

The action of the secret rays

Mighty Cosmos explains the action of the secret rays:

The secret rays promote an action of detail, the final sculpturing of the mind and consciousness in the perfect image of the Christ. The secret rays are like the refiner's fire. They purge, they purify. When man has said of himself “My work is finished,” I have sent forth the secret rays to show him that the detail was not finished. For in the conclusion of the spiral, the Law requires perfection....

The secret rays come into your being to arrange the floral offering of the soul, to see that all is in readiness that you might stand before the Court of the Sacred Fire and present yourself in the best Light, the best image which you can muster and which you have built as the giant pyramid through the ages, ages of incarnation.

You have heard that man is a starry body, a five-pointed star. The five points of Light that make the star of this version of man’s consciousness are the five secret rays. The exactness of the secret rays as they are released from the centers placed within your form for this purpose goes forth into the world to draw all into the plumb line of divinity. I say then, this is no time for dalliance, for sloppiness, for lack of cleanliness in your person. For this is the hour when God demands the allness of man. And perfection is the great standard....

I say to you then, use the starry body to perfect your mastery under the twelve hierarchies. Working together with the seven beloved chohans, use the secret rays to perfect the power, the faith, and the goodwill of God in your life. Let the secret rays enhance the blue flame, and let God’s will be done! Let the secret rays enhance and establish the action of wisdom, of illumination and the power of the Mind of Christ to be the perfect mind within you that always knows and hears and sees the thoughts of Almighty God. And as soon as the mind perceives, it makes these tangible in action.

Action is the byword of the secret rays. And you ask, How can we be active if we go within? Man’s concept of going within is a passive state of meditation. But I say to you that I come to inaugurate an activity such as the world has never dreamed of through going within to the white fire core and charging the being with the Sacred Fire of the very core of Being. Within that core and center, a fire within you is the greatest activity, the perpetual motion of the action of the love of the Holy Spirit.

And so I say, use the secret rays to intensify the third ray of God’s love, the fourth ray of His purity, the fifth ray of His healing, science, and truth, the sixth ray of ministration and service, and the seventh ray of freedom. All of the colors of the seven rays become more vivid and intense as they pass through the chemicalization of the secret rays.

One final aspect—the crystalline nature of the secret rays. When these rays coalesce in the physical body of the earth, they coalesce as crystal. And this will give you one clue to the fact that various types of crystal which are respected as gems and of precious value by mankind are the condensation of the secret rays. These jewels are the repository for the flames of the secret rays. And I will let you meditate upon the various formations and forms of crystal. And I will let your Holy Christ Self and your solar awareness tell you at the appointed hour which formations represent which of the five secret rays.

Mighty Cosmos also likens the secret rays to a hand, and he talks about the hand of man and the five fingers representing the five secret rays, and he says that each of these fingers has a specific function and a specific use. We do not use one finger for the purpose of another finger; they all work together to give us action in the world. He says that we should work to discover the meaning of the secret rays and that each secret ray has a different frequency, a different color, a different vibration and a different purpose. And the only way we will come to know this purpose is to meditate upon the secret rays—because we have to be standing in the center of them to know them.

The release of the secret rays

All five secret rays were released to the earth by Mighty Cosmos on April 8, 1973. This release marked the beginning of the initiation of the crucifixion for the earth and was the beginning of the great spiral of the transition from Pisces to Aquarius and the bringing in of the golden age. With that release, Cosmos explained the action of these secret rays:

Have you thought about the fact that there is a consciousness and awareness of God within the core of being that is the threefold flame and within the white fire that is the heart of every atom of man’s being? So then, I AM that consciousness; and you are that consciousness if you choose to ensoul the white fire.

I caution you not to leap into the flame without the realization that all that is human, all that is less than divine within you, must be consumed when you make that leap. I think of how mankind gingerly approach the waters of the sea, and they put in one toe and quickly withdraw it because it is too cold. Well, you might do the same because it is too hot. But the heat is only generated by the friction of your own consciousness in the flame.

Therefore, first divest thyself of the awareness of thyself as a being apart from God, apart from his preeminence; and then consider the allness that is man as the manifestation of God. Realize that that allness can only be the consuming fire. And there—there you stand. Take one step and enter the Flame, for that is how close the Flame is. That is how near divine perfection is. And that is how unreal the vanity of vanities is. Only one step, and you step out of imperfection into perfection....

And so I have come forth to release at the behest of the Lords of Karma an extraordinary assistance through the momentum of the secret rays that descend now from the heart of Alpha and Omega, from the hearts of the mighty Elohim and their heavenly consorts who send forth the aspect of the masculine, the aspect of the feminine of the secret rays. And they are spiraling into manifestation through the etheric, the mental, the emotional, and into the physical plane of the planet Earth....

The secret rays are a haven for the blessed. Let all retreat to the secret rays and to the consciousness that I AM. For I AM Cosmos and I ensoul the cosmos with the power of the secret rays. And there is nowhere within this Giant Egg that you can go that you will not find my Self-awareness of the cosmic secret rays that come forth from the heart of Almighty God. And thou shalt find me in the rock and in the water, in the spring of life, in the heart of man, in the heart of a flower, in the clouds above, and in the stratosphere, and in all solar awarenesses; for I AM Cosmos, and I AM the precipitation of the masculine and feminine rays of Alpha and Omega.

The initiations of the five secret rays

The Five Dhyani Buddhas give us our initiations on the five secret rays. These rays give us our most difficult and intricate initiations. The intricacy of these initiations, the intricacy of the succession of detail, of fact, of figuring, of planning, is very complex. It is like figuring out a very complex formula in order to get through to the next level of Being.

This is because those five spheres stand between the white-fire core and the outer spheres of the causal body. The seven spheres of your causal body are the sign, the symbol and the actuality of all physical manifestation. The secret rays provide the transition to the realm of absolute God-perfection. You cannot pass through the initiations of those five secret-ray bands without being prepared by full God-mastery under the seven chohans in the seven rays.

A focus of the secret rays

A focus of the secret rays is maintained in the Temple of Peace over the Hawaiian Islands, balancing the masculine activity in the Northern Hemisphere and the feminine activity in the Southern Hemisphere.
