He estimates that Mu was destroyed approximately twelve thousand years ago by the collapse of the gas chambers that upheld the continent.

The fall of Mu, then, was the direct result of the Fall of man, which reached its lowest point in the desecration of the shrines to the Cosmic Virgin. This came about gradually through compromise with Principle, separation from the Holy Ghost, and the loss of vision that inevitably results therefrom. Blinded by ambition and self-love, priests and priestesses no longer tended the flames; forsaking their vows, they abandoned the practice of those sacred rituals that had remained unbroken for thousands of years—even as the holy angels keep perpetual watch over the unfed flame that burns upon the altar of the Most High God.

Thus Mu finally sank by the sheer weight of Darkness that her children had invoked—and which, because their deeds were evil, they had come to love more than the Light. She went down in a horrendous mass of volcanic fire and exploding lava, and the flame focuses that had sustained a mighty people and a mighty civilization were no more. What had taken hundreds of thousands of years to build up was torn down in a cosmic interval—the achievements of an entire civilization lost in oblivion, the spiritual-material evolution of man stripped from his outer memory!

The strategies of the fallen ones, who had worked night and day with a fanatical zeal, were successful in accomplishing their end: the Mother flame was extinguished on the physical plane.

जेम्स चर्चवर्ड (१९२७) [James Churchward (1927)] की पुस्तक द लॉस्ट कॉन्टिनेंट ऑफ म्यू (The Lost Continent of Mu) से लिया गया लेमूरिया का मानचित्र। चर्चवर्ड (Churchward) ने यह मानचित्र प्राचीन ग्रंथों को पढ़ने के बाद बनाया था और इसमें लेमूरिया महाद्वीप को उसी रूप में दिखाया गया है जैसा वह अपने अंतिम विनाश से पहले दिखता था।

मू, या लेमूरिया,(Mu or Lemuria) प्रशांत महासागर का एक खोया हुआ महाद्वीप था, जो पुरातत्ववेत्ता (archaeologist) और द लॉस्ट कॉन्टिनेंट ऑफ मू (The Lost Continent of Mu) के लेखक जेम्स चर्चवर्ड (James Churchward) के अनुसार हवाई (Hawaii) के उत्तर से लेकर ईस्टर द्वीप (Easter Island) और फिजी (Fijis) के दक्षिण में तीन हज़ार मील तक फैला हुआ था। भूमि के तीन भागों से बना यह महाद्वीप पूर्व से पश्चिम तक करीब पांच हजार मील में फैला था।

चर्चवर्ड (Churchward) द्वारा लिखा गया प्राचीन मातृभूमि का इतिहास उन पवित्र पट्टिकाओं (sacred tablets) पर अंकित अभिलेखों पर आधारित है जो उन्हें भारत से मिले थे। भारत के एक मंदिर के पुजारी ने उन्हें इन अभिलेखों का अर्थ समझाया। पचास वर्षों के अपने शोध (research) के दौरान उन्होंने दक्षिण-पूर्व एशिया, युकाटन (Yucatan), मध्य-अमेरिका, प्रशांत द्वीप समूह, मैक्सिको, उत्तरी अमेरिका, प्राचीन मिस्र और अन्य सभ्यताओं में पाए गए लेखों, शिलालेखों (inscriptions) और किंवदंतियों (legends) का अध्ययन किया तथा इस ज्ञान की पुष्टि की। उनके अनुसार मू (Mu) लगभग बारह हजार साल पहले तब नष्ट हो गया जब इस महाद्वीप को बनाए रखने वाले वायु के कक्ष नष्ट हो गए।

दिव्य माँ की संस्कृति (The culture of the Mother)

दिव्य माँ की संस्कृति का पंथ जो बीसवीं सदी में प्रमुखता से उभरने वाला था, लेमूरिया सभ्यता की नीवं थी। वह खोया हुआ महाद्वीप हज़ारों साल पहले प्रशांत महासागर में डूब गया था। पृथ्वी पर जीवन का विकास इस ग्रह पर आत्मा के भौतिक रूप में आने का प्रतीक है। यहां पर शुरुआती रूट रेसों (early root races) ने एक नहीं बल्कि कई सतयुगों (golden ages) के समय अपनी दिव्य योजनाओं को पूरा किया था; यहीं पर मनुष्य के पतन से पहले मानवता अपनी चर्म सीमा पर थी; यहीं पर पौरुष की किरण (निराकार आत्मा) अवरोही चक्र के सर्पिल रूप और स्त्रीवाची किरण (पदार्थ) के आरोही चक्र सर्पिल के माध्यम से भौतिक दुनिया को साकार किया गया था।

मू (Mu) के मुख्य मंदिर में दिव्य माँ की लौ को दिव्य पिता की लौ (जो सूर्य की सुनहरी नगरी में केंद्रित है) के जोड़ीदार के रूप में स्थापित किया गया था। सुनहरी नगरी के पुजारियों और पुजारिनों ने पवित्र शब्दों और मन्त्रों द्वारा ईश्वर का आह्वान करने के प्राचीन अनुष्ठानों (rituals) द्वारा इस ग्रह पर ब्रह्मांडीय शक्तियों का संतुलन बनाये रखा। मू की विस्तृत कई कॉलोनियों (colonies) में इस तरह की पवित्र चेतना के कई मंदिर स्थापित किये गए। इन मंदिरो की वजह से पृथ्वी और सूर्य के बीच प्रकाश का वृत्तखण्ड (arc of light) बन गया जो पृथ्वी और सूर्य की लौ से अध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा (Logos) को पृथ्वी पर पहुंचाने का कार्य करता था जिससे वस्तुएं भौतिक रूप ग्रहण करती थी।

मू (Mu) पर सदियों से चली आ रही लगातार संस्कृति के समय विज्ञान में अत्यधिक प्रगति हुई जिसमे दिव्य माँ की सार्वभौमिक एकता के माध्यम को सामने लाया गया। दिव्य माँ की यही चेतना पृथ्वी पर सभी प्रकार की अभिव्यक्तियों को सफल बनाती है। ईश्वर के प्रति समर्पित लोगों की उपलब्धियाँ इस बात को दर्शाती हैं कि जिस सभ्यता में माँ का सम्मान और आराधना की जाती है, और उनके सम्मान में मंदिर बनाये जाते हैं वह सभ्यता आसमान की ऊंचाइयों को छू सकती है। इससे यह बात भी स्पष्ट होती है कि जब मनुष्य स्वयं को ईश्वर की इस प्रकार की कृपा से वंचित कर देता है तब वह दिव्य माँ के दिखाए रास्ते से दूर हो जाता है और मूलाधार चक्र में केंद्रित बीज परमाणु (seed atom) की ऊर्जा का दुरुपयोग करता है - जो भौतिक शरीर में दिव्य माँ की ज्योति के प्रकाश का स्थान है।

लेमूरिया पर मनुष्य का पतन

मू (Mu) के पतन का कारण मनुष्य का पतन था और मनुष्य के पतन का कारण उसका ब्रह्मांडीय अक्षत (Cosmic Virgin) के मंदिरों का अपमान करना था। यह अचानक नहीं हुआ था बल्कि धीरे धीरे मनुष्य का अपनी अंतरात्मा से दूर होने के कारण हुआ था जिसकी वजह से वह अपने सिद्धांतों से दूर हो गया और उसने अपनी दूरंदेशी भी खो दी। महत्वाकांक्षा और आत्म-प्रेम में अंधे होकर पुजारियों और पुजारिनो ने ईश्वर का ध्यान छोड़ दिया, उन्होंने अपनी प्रतिज्ञाएं तोड़ दीं और उन सभी पवित्र अनुष्ठानों का अभ्यास भी छोड़ दिया जो वे सदियों से कर रहे थे - पर ऐसे समय में भी देवदूतों ने ईश्वर की अतृप्त लौ (unfed flame) पर अपनी निगरानी बनाये रखी थी।

फिर दिव्य माँ की पूजा का स्थान मून मदर (Moon Mother) ने ले लिया। मून मदर चंद्रमाँ की नकारात्मक ऊर्जा में लिप्त माँ को कहते हैं बुक ऑफ़ रेवेलेशन (Book of Revelation) में मून मदर का ज़िक्र एक पथभ्रष्ट, पतित स्त्री [1] के रूप में किया गया है। जॉन (John) के अनुसार दिव्य माँ वह स्त्री है जो सूरज की रोशनी में लिपटे हुए है, जिसके सिर पर बारह तारों वाला मुकुट है तथा पैरों के नीचे चंद्रमा है [2] सीसे और पत्थर में स्थापित एक काला क्रिस्टल मातृ किरण की विकृति (perversion) और नए धर्म के प्रतीक का केंद्र बन गया। काले जादू की पैशाचिक (diabolical) प्रथा और लूसिफेरियन (Luciferian) द्वारा सिखाई गई लैंगिक (phallic) पूजा के माध्यम से एक-एक करके विभिन्न वर्गों के मंदिरों के आंतरिक चक्रों का उल्लंघन शुरू हो गया और ऐसा तब तक होता रहा जब तक कि झूठे धर्मशास्त्रों ने पूरी तरह से मातृ पंथ के प्राचीन रूप को मिटा नहीं दिया।

मू महाद्वीप पर जीवन को दुसरे ग्रहों के निवासियों (aliens) और पथभ्रष्ट देवदूतों ने अपने विकृत अनुवांशिक यन्त्रशास्त्र (Genetic engineering) से और अधिक भ्रष्ट कर दिया। उन्होंने ईश्वरत्व का मजाक उड़ाया और मनुष्यों को देवताओं के युद्धों में उलझाकर माता के पवित्र विज्ञान का उल्लंघन किया।

लेमूरिया का डूबना

धीरे-धीरे मू के निवासियों को प्रलय के आने का अंदेशा हुआ। सबसे पहले दूरस्थ कलोनियों (remote colonies) के पूजास्थल ध्वस्त हो गए। जब मुख्य मंदिर के आसपास के बारह मंदिरों पर शैतानवादी लोगों ने कब्जा कर लिया तो बचे-खुचे श्रद्धालू भी कुछ नहीं कर पाए, उन्हें भी अपने घुटने टेकने पड़े क्योंकि उनके प्रकाश की मात्रा पूरे महाद्वीप का संतुलन बनाये रखने के लिए पर्याप्त नहीं थी।

और इस तरह मू अंततः अपने ही बच्चों द्वारा पैदा किये हुए अंधेरे में डूब गया - इन लोगों के कर्म इतने बुरे थे कि वे प्रकाश की अपेक्षा अंधकार से ही प्यार करने लगे थे। मू का अंत ज्वालामुखी के एक भयंकर विस्फोट से हुआ, जिसके साथ ही एक शक्तिशाली सभ्यता का अंत हो गया। वह सभ्यता जिसे बनने में सैकड़ों-हजारों साल लगे थे, कुछ क्षणों में नष्ट हो गई; एक पूरी सभ्यता की सारी उपलब्धियाँ (achievements) गुमनामी में खो गईं, तथा मनुष्य के आध्यात्मिक-भौतिक विकास की स्मृतियाँ उससे छीन ले ली गयीं।

दिव्य मातृ लौ का नष्ट होना

हालाँकि यह प्रलय लाखों आत्माओं के लिए विनाशकारी थी, लेकिन इससे भी बड़ा यह दुःख था कि मुख्य मंदिर की वेदी पर प्रज्वलित दिव्य मातृ की लौ नष्ट हो गई - यह एक ऐसी जीवन देने वाली अग्नि थी जो प्रत्येक व्यक्ति की दिव्यता के प्रतीक के रूप में प्रकट हुई थी। पथभ्रष्ट देवदूतों ने मातृ लौ को बुझाने के लिए दिन-रात एक कर दिया और अंततः वे अपनी कूटनीतियों में सफल भी हो गए।

कुछ समय के लिए तो ऐसा लगा मानो अन्धकार ने प्रकाश को पूरी तरह से घेर लिया हो। मानवजाति के उल्लंघन को देख ब्रह्मांडीय परिषदों (cosmic councils) ने पृथ्वी ग्रह को भंग करने का निर्णय लिया - इस ग्रह पर लोगों ने भगवान का पूरी तरह से त्याग कर दिया था। अगर सनत कुमार ने उस समय हस्तक्षेप नहीं किया होता तो यह ग्रह नष्ट ही हो जाता। पृथ्वी पर प्रकाश का संतुलन तथा मनुष्यों की ओर से मातृ लौ बनाये रखने के लिए सनत कुमार ने अपने ग्रह हेस्पेरस (Hesperus ) (शुक्र) को त्याग पृथ्वी पर आने का निश्चय किया। उन्होंने तब तक पृथ्वी पर रहने का प्राण लिया जब तक कि मानव जाति अपने पूर्वजों के शुद्ध और निष्कलंक (pure and undefiled) धर्म [3] का अनुसरण करना पुनः शुरू नहीं करती।

हालाँकि मू की मातृ लौ का भौतिक स्वरुप खो गया था, देव और देवी मेरु (God and Goddess Meru) ने आकाशीय स्तर पर स्त्री किरण (feminine ray) को अपने मंदिर में बनाये रखा - आकाशीय स्तर पर उनका मंदिर टेम्पल ऑफ़ इल्लुमिनेशन (Temple of Illumination) टिटिकाका झील (Lake Titicaca) में है।

स्वर्ग का गुम हो जाना

जो जीवात्माएं मातृभूमि के साथ नष्ट हो गईं, वे पुनः धरती पर अवतरित हुईं। उनका स्वर्ग खो गया था, सो वे उस रेत पर भटकते रहीं जिस पर भगवान ने स्वयं लिखा था "तुम्हारे लिए ही यह भूमि शापित है..."[4] उन जीवात्माओं को ना तो अपने पूर्व जन्म के बारे में और ना ही उस संबंध के बारे में याद था। इसका कारण त्रिज्योति लौ का अभाव था — वे पुनः आदिम अस्तित्व में लौट गए।। ईश्वर के नियमों की अवज्ञा करने के कारण उन्होंने अपनी आत्म-निपुणता, प्रभुत्व का अधिकार और ईश्वरीय स्वरुप (I AM Presence) के बारे में अपना ज्ञान भी खो दिया। उनकी त्रिज्योति लौ (threefold flame) मात्र टिमटिमाने तक सिमित हो गई और उनके शरीर के चक्रों का प्रकाश बुझ गया। चक्रों में स्थित ज्वाला को हृदय में वापस ले जाया गया। इसके परिणामस्वरूप एलोहीम (Elohim) ने मनुष्य के चक्रों का कार्यभार अपने ऊपर ले लिया और उनके चार निचले शरीरों (four lower bodies) में प्रकाश का वितरण करने लगे।

चूँकि मनुष्य में अब आत्मा की छवि नहीं थी वह एक प्रजाति (होमो सेपियन्स/ homo sapiens) (homo sapiens) बन कर रह गया। भगवान् ने मनुष्य की ईश्वर-क्षमता को ब्रह्मांडीय इतिहास के एक हजार दिनों के लिए बंद कर दिया, इसलिए मनुष्य अब अन्य जानवरों की तरह एक जानवर ही था। और फिर यहाँ से शुरू हुई मनुष्य के विकास की एक कठिन यात्रा जो तब समाप्त होगी जब मनुष्य आत्मिक प्रवीणता द्वारा अपने पूर्ण ईश्वर-स्वरुप को प्राप्त कर लेगा। और वो युग होगा सतयुग।

दिव्य मातृ लौ का फिर से ऊपर उठना

१९७१ में पवित्र अग्नि के भक्तों ने श्वेत महासंघ (Great White Brotherhood) के ला टौरेल (La Tourelle) नामक बाहरी आश्रय स्थल में सेवा करते हुए मू की दिव्य मातृ लौ को भौतिक सप्तक में स्थापित कर दिया था। ऐसा करके उन्होंने बीसवीं शताब्दी के अंतिम चरण में शुरू होने वाली कुम्भ -युगीन संस्कृति की आधारशिला रखी। एक बार फिर, मशाल पारित कर दी गई है; और इस बार, भगवान की कृपा और मनुष्य के प्रयास से यह लुप्त नहीं होगी।

कई शताब्दियों से हम पिता के रूप में ईश्वर की पूजा करते आ रहे हैं, परन्तु अगले युग में ईश्वर की पूजा पिता एवं माता दोनों ही रूपों में की जायेगी। यह ही दिव्यगुरूओं के दर्शन और जीवन शैली का मूल विषय भी है। यह पदार्थ में आत्मा के सम्पूर्ण आगमन का युग है क्योंकि इस समय मनुष्य चारों तत्वों - अग्नि, वायु, जल और पृथ्वी - पर अपना प्रभुत्व स्थापित करेगा। ये चार तत्त्व ईश्वर की उभयलिंगी (androgynous) चेतना (पुरुष और स्‍त्री दोनों के शारीरिक लक्षणों की चेतना) के चार स्तरों का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं जिन पर उसे ईश्वर के साथ मिलने से पहले निपुणता प्राप्त करनी चाहिए। दिव्य माँ के रूप में ईश्वर की पूजा और देवी-देवताओं के स्त्रीवाची कार्यों (Feminine aspect of the Deity) के उत्थान से, विज्ञान और धर्म अपनी चरम सीमा पर पहुंच जाएंगे और मनुष्य को यह समझ लेगा कि उसके अस्तित्व की वेदी पर स्थापित त्रिज्योति लौ ही भगवान की आत्मा का अस्तित्व है। इसी तरह वह प्रकृति में भी ईश्वर के तत्व की खोज करेगा। इसके साथ ही, दिव्य गूढ़ दर्शन की प्रबुद्धता के माध्यम से वह स्वयं को जीवित आत्मा - दिव्य स्त्री के बीज - के रूप (living Christ—the seed of the Divine Woman)में स्वीकार कर लेगा।

पतन के अभिलेखों का रूपांतरण

सैन डिएगो (San Diego), कैलिफ़ोर्निया (California) में दी गई एक दिव्य वाणी (dictation) में,दिव्य गुरु रा मू ने लेमूरिया के पतन के रिकॉर्ड को रिक्त करने के लिए छात्रों को आह्वान दिया है:

लेमूरिया के अभिलेखों को साफ़ करने के लिए, मैं, रा म्यू, समुद्र की गहराइयों से बाहर आया हूँ। समुद्र तटों और ग्रह-व्‍यवस्‍था के संतुलन के लिए प्रशांत महासागर के नीचे रखे इन अभिलेखों को साफ़ करना अत्यावश्यक है।

हम आप सब - और लेमूरिया की जीवात्माओं - के यहाँ पर एकत्र होने के लिए आभारी हैं। इस समय हमारा ध्येय आप सबसे मिलकर वायलेट लौ और सेंट जरमेन (Saint Germain) वायलेट लौ (violet flame) को कहते हैं। प्रियजनों, हम आपको दिव्य आदेश (decrees) देने के लिए कहते हैं ताकि वायलेट लौ ना सिर्फ समुद्र के ऊपर से बल्कि समुद्र की गहराई में बहुत अंदर तक उतर कर लेमूरिया महाद्वीप के अभिलेखों (records) को साफ (clearing) कर सके।

आप में से कई लोग लेमूरिया के समय में मौजूद थे। आप लेमूरिया का इतिहास और भूगोल जानते हैं। आपने देवताओं का युद्ध भी देखा है।[5] (Pearls of Wisdom, vol. 30, no. 64, p. 541.) आपने लेमूरिया को डूबते हुए देखा था। इसलिए आप अभी भी लेमूरियन हैं; पुराने कर्मों का समाधान करने के लिए और दिव्य प्रेम का संकल्प लेने को आप वापिस इस स्थान पर आएं हैं, और वास्तव में इसे ब्रह्माण्डीय घड़ी के ३६० डिग्री पर घटित होना चाहिए....

लेमूरिया और पृथ्वी के सभी पुत्र और पुत्रियो, मैं आपसे कहना चाहता हूँ कि विश्व में शीघ्रता से परिवर्तन लाने के लिए आप वायलेट लौ के दिव्य आदेश (decrees) दीजिये। आपके द्वारा दी गई वायलेट लौ के दिव्य आदेश न केवल इस तट को बल्कि पूरे विश्व को संभालने में योगदान देगें। यदि आप भविष्य देख पाते, तो आप इस कार्य को दिन के कई घंटे करने में भी परहेज़ नहीं करते। क्योंकि तब आप ये जान पाते कि वायलेट लौ ही उन सभी अभिलेखों को साफ़ कर सकती है जो लेमूरिया निवासियों ने बनाये थे - वे उस समय पथभ्रष्ट पुजारियों के साथ मिले हुए थे तथा उन्होंने अच्छे पुजारियों और पुजारिनो की हत्या की थी।

इस समय हम आपको वायलेट लौ के दिव्य आदेशों द्वारा लेमूरिया पर दिव्य माँ की हत्या के अभिलेखों का रूपांतरण करने के लिए कह रहे हैं।[6] यह रिकॉर्ड एक गहरा रिकॉर्ड है और इसका साफ़ होना बहुत महत्वूर्ण है क्योंकि ऐसा होने पर ही स्त्रियां अपने स्त्रीसुलभ गुणों में पूर्णता प्राप्त कर पाएंगी और आप उन्हें पूरी क्षमता के साथ ईश्वरत्व की ओर आगे बढ़ते हुए देख पाएंगे। लेमूरिया के अभिलेखों के रूपांतरित ना होने से असंख्य जीवात्माएं विभिन्न स्तरों ओर अटकी हुई हैं, जब तक ये अभिलेख रूपांतरित नहीं होते तब तक वे आगे नहीं बढ़ पाएंगी।

इसलिए हम ये कह सकते हैं कि प्रशांत महासागर का किनारा ही वह स्थान है जहां अत्याधिक मात्रा में वायलेट लौ की आवश्यकता है। यहाँ वायलेट फ्लेम को समुद्र के अंदर बहुत गहराई तक जाना होगा ताकि सभी अभिलेख शुद्ध हो पाएं। प्रियजनों, जब ये अभिलेख रूपांतरित हो जाएंगे तो समाज में एक बहुत बड़ा बदलाव आएगा जिसके फलस्वरूप प्राचीन काल की महान पुजारिनें पुनः सामने आएंगी - वे अवतार लेंगी और स्त्री किरण वाले अन्य लोगों के साथ मिलकर स्त्रीत्व और पुरुषत्व में संतुलन स्थापित करेंगी ताकि पथभ्रष्ट देवदूतों को रास्ते पर लाया जा सके - वे पथभ्रष्ट देवदूत जो सदियों से स्त्री और उसके वंश के विरुद्ध कार्य कर रहे थे।[7] [<ref>Ra Mu,Transmute the Records of Lemuria and Claim the Victory of the Feminine Ray,” Pearls of Wisdom, vol. 43, no. 13, March 31, 2002.]
