यह मनुष्य के चार निचले शरीरों में से सबसे ज़्यादा घनत्व वाला शरीर है। यह पृथ्वी तत्व और पदार्थ के चौथे चतुर्थांश के अनुरूप है। यह शरीर पृथ्वी पर जीवात्मा के निवास के दौरान उसका वाहन बनता है और आकाशीय शरीर, मानसिक शरीर, और भावनात्मक शरीर की ऊर्जाओं का केंद्र है।
