Les voyants de Garabandal

Entre juillet 1961 et novembre 1965, Mère Marie est apparue à quatre jeunes filles plus de deux mille fois à Garabandal, en Espagne. Elle les a averties d'un "grand châtiment" et leur a dit que la prière, le sacrifice et la pénitence étaient nécessaires.

Le 18 juin 1961, les jeunes filles ont déclaré avoir reçu la visite d'un ange. Le 2 juillet, elles déclarèrent que l'ange était accompagné d'une dame qu'elles reconnurent comme la "Mère de Jésus " et qui serait apparue plus de 2 000 fois au cours des quatre années suivantes. Le 18 octobre 1961, les jeunes filles ont annoncé un message de Notre-Dame :

We must do much penance and make many sacrifices.... The cup is already filling and if we do not amend our lives there will come a great chastisement.

On June 18, 1965, she said:

Since my message of October 18 has not been complied with and has not been made known to the world, I am advising you that this is the last one.... Many cardinals, many bishops, and many priests are on the road to perdition and are taking many souls with them.... You should turn the wrath of God away from yourselves by your efforts.... You are now receiving the last warnings.

The significance of the appearances

The Church has not confirmed that these appearances are real, but many, many thousands of believers attest to their reality. The message is essentially the same as it was at Fátima: the need for penance, the need for devotion, the need for conversion of sinners, much prayer, and a life that is devoted to service of God.

On May 15, 1983, in a dictation through Elizabeth Clare Prophet, Mother Mary said:

I tell you, beloved ones, it is the faulty leadership and the false pastors of my people who have not seized the message of Garabandal, who have not proclaimed it and gone forth. But they wait in the shadows and they wait in the shadows, not wanting to confirm or deny.

Therefore, I say they are lukewarm and I, Mary, Mediatrix of Mercy and Justice, will spew them out of my mouth this day! And let those who carry the light within the Church stand and be counted this day! For I will count those who are of the light and I will sponsor you, but I will not sponsor the malignancy that has entered the Holy Church and defiled the Christ in the sons and daughters of God on earth and in Jesus, my beloved.

Our ongoing communion with the Mother through her dictations and her rosaries is a very close attunement of our souls with her on a day-to-day basis. We realize that all of these prophecies of Fátima and of Garabandal and of private prophecies given to others around the world lead to the same conclusion: there must be a return to God, else the Dark Cycle of world karma coming upon it will manifest a horrendous holocaust or transition or cataclysm or whatever form these things may take. Our service with Mother Mary, then, is the perpetual use of the violet flame and our dynamic decrees to offset the imbalance in planetary conditions.
