Melchizedek, priest of the Most High God, is an ancient member of the sacred-fire priesthood that we know as the Order of Melchizedek. The Melchizidekian priesthood is very ancient, going back all the way to other star systems. It is the priesthood of the seventh ray, combining the perfect religion and the perfect science. Priests of this order are required to be scientists as well as to perfect the way of the light of God in their temples.

The Biblical record

Melchizedek is first seen in the Bible as the priest of the Most High God who met and blessed Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and to whom Abraham gave a tenth part of the spoils. Melchizedek served Abraham bread and wine, the first record we have of the serving of Holy Communion. Melchizedek is a very key figure of light, a Guru of gurus. He was the greatest initiate and adept of the Old Testament and ascended at the conclusion of that embodiment.

In chapter 7 of the Book of Hebrews we read:

Porque este Melquisedec, rey de Salem, sacerdote del Dios Altísimo, que salió a recibir a Abraham que volvía de la derrota de los reyes, y le bendijo, a quien asimismo dio Abraham los diezmos de todo; cuyo nombre significa primeramente Rey de justicia, y también Rey de Salem, esto es, Rey de paz; sin padre, sin madre, sin genealogía; que ni tiene principio de días, ni fin de vida, sino hecho semejante al Hijo de Dios, permanece sacerdote para siempre.

En hebreo, el nombre Melquisedec significa «rey de lo justo». Por tanto, es un rey de justicia que multiplica la Ley de Dios con el uso o ejercicio correcto de la Ley. También significa rey por derecho, por logro. Melquisedec también tenía el título de Rey de Salem, que es Rey de Jerusalén, la Ciudad Santa. La palabra rey significa «clave para la encarnación de Dios», [rey en inglés es king: key (clave) para la incarnation (encarnación) de God (Dios)]. Por consiguiente, Melquisedec tiene, gracias a la vara de su autoridad y su logro, la clave para que encarnemos a Dios en la Ciudad Santa, en la Nueva Jerusalén.

El Señor Ling explica la descripción de Melquisedec como alguien sin padre ni madre:

Pero está escrito que a su debido tiempo, por el poder de la Palabra hablada desde el chakra de la garganta, las personas espirituales se pondrán una enfrente de la otra y, pronunciando las palabras sagradas, acelerarán con rayos luminosos, en el poder de la semilla, el uso adecuado de las energías sexuales (sagradas) y la acción del caduceo, y producirán una forma viva instantáneamente, en la gran luz cósmica, de la cual saldrá un hijo de Dios en manifestación radiante.

De esta manera nació Melquisedec, sin padre ni madre, sin genealogía, sin un principio de sus días ni un final. Vosotros decís: «Has dicho que nació sin padre ni madre y, sin embargo, has dicho que se pusieron cara a cara». Sí, es cierto. Pero los que se pusieron cara a cara eran como maestros de luz, un Hijo y una Hija de Dios, y él no tenía madre ni padre terrenal, pero no carecía de madre y padre celestial. El orden de Melquisedec

El libro de Hebreos dice que Jesús fue «hecho sumo sacerdote para siempre según el orden de Melquisedec». Los registros akáshicos revelan que tanto Jesús como Saint Germain estudiaron en el retiro del Arcángel Zadquiel cuando estuvieron encarnados en la Atlántida. Ambos completaron sus iniciaciones y su preparación en la orden de Melquisedec antes del hundimiento del continente. Estuvieron ante Melquisedec y el gran Arcángel Zadquiel, quien dijo a estos dos benditos: «Tú eres sacerdote para siempre, según el orden de Melquisedec». Cuando se recibe esa preparación e iniciación, ello se transfiere a las vidas posteriores. Así, Jesús ya era un sacerdote de la Orden de Melquisedec antes de nacer en su última encarnación.

Uno de los símbolos de Melquisedec es la Cruz de Malta. Esta cruz está compuesta de cuatro «V» que se encuentran en el centro de la cruz, representando los cuatro planos de la Materia. Melquisedec enseña la maestría de estos cuatro planos y él se encuentra en el centro de la cruz, el punto donde se encuentran las líneas de fuerza del Espíritu y la Materia, Alfa y Omega.

The service of the Order of Melchizedek today

Archangel Zadkiel speaks of the service of this priesthood:

The role of the priesthood, beloved, is to tend the flame of life at the altar of temple and home and heart. The calling of the priesthood is to never let go, or go out, the flame of life. First and foremost, the flame must be kept by these committed ones on behalf of the planetary and solar evolutions. The priesthood are keepers of the flame on behalf of those souls evolving on various rungs of the ladder of life, extending the grace and the mercy and the ritual of the seventh ray that they might find their own God-mastery, petal by petal.

Thus, the priest of the Order of Melchizedek is also self-effacing, his motto “He must increase, but I must decrease.” The meaning of this statement made by John the Baptist is that the priest cedes his place to the one who comes after him, and he thereby ascends another level vibrationally. Therefore he does decree that the one who is capable of receiving his torch that is passed must increase in that position and he who does go on must decrease at that level, even as he, too, shall increase at the next level.

The Priesthood of Melchizedek is very active on the earth today. In a landmark dictation given in Portland, Oregon, May 28, 1986, Saint Germain announced a dispensation whereby one hundred and forty-four thousand priests from the Priesthood of Melchizedek formed a violet-flame Maltese cross over the city:

Blessed ones, the event that brings me to this city is both ancient and recent. The ancient event, as recorded here in akasha, is a misuse of the light—in some cases by those who have reincarnated here and tarry for the opportunity to balance that karma, and in some cases by those who are not recalled to the scene of this misuse.

Beloved, there are many sincere hearts in this area and state, as you are well aware; for I count you among them most certainly. Therefore, I would intercede in a danger you know not of, which is the return of that karma, cycle for cycle, in this hour of planetary karma returning. The intercession, then, is invoked through the council of Lord Zadkiel’s retreat and the priesthood of Melchizedek.

There is a violet-ray priesthood, beloved. Therefore, during this meditation, a procession of priests of the sacred fire have marched from that retreat to this area, forming by their bodies of light a Maltese cross.... Thus, beloved, the four arms signify the release into Matter of a sacred fire.

The members of the order of this ancient priesthood are ascended masters all. They long ago attained that victory that is yours to enter in this hour. They come from ancient temples prior to the desecration thereof on lost continents where they themselves achieved the honor of the white fire and the entering therein. They have come, then, to give protection and an immense fire of transmutation that that return of karma might be mitigated or entirely consumed. This consuming and transmutation must take place in the physical through the intercession of yourselves and your heart flames receiving the violet flame, calling it forth, and welcoming a cooperative endeavor of these one hundred and forty-four thousand priests of the Order of Melchizedek who have placed their bodies this night in this giant Maltese-cross formation.
