The actual cause of death is the cutting of this silver cord (an act of God), which causes the threefold flame to “go out” in the physical body. And this is the accurate and true meaning of Ecclesiastes 12:6–7, which reads: “... or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern [metaphor for the withdrawal of the silver cord and the simultaneous withdrawal of the threefold flame—i.e., the ‘breaking’ of the heart, the going out of the breath of Life and with it the soul, and the taking up of the light from the chakras—‘wheels’].
