Translations:Zadkiel and Holy Amethyst/9/en
Zadkiel refers to the violet flame as the universal solvent that the alchemists have sought throughout the ages.[1] He says:
- ↑ Alchemy was a medieval science. The early alchemists sought to transmute base metals into gold and to discover a universal cure for disease and a means of prolonging life. In a broader sense, alchemy is defined as “a power or process of transforming something common into something special” or “an inexplicable or mysterious transmuting.” Alchemy is the science of self-transformation.
