Kuthumi

El maestro ascendido Kuthumi, anteriormente chohán del segundo rayo de la sabiduría, presta servicio actualmente con Jesús ocupando el cargo de Instructor del Mundo.

Kuthumi es el maestro jefe de los Hermanos de la Túnica Dorada y prepara a los estudiantes que están en el rayo de la sabiduría en el arte de la meditación y la ciencia de la Palabra con el fin de que puedan llegar a ser maestros psicólogos de su psique, o alma.

Tutmosis III

Como el faraón Tutmosis III (hacia 1567 a.C.), profeta y sumo sacerdote, expandió el reino egipcio hasta incluir la mayor parte de Oriente Medio. Su victoria más decisiva fue en el campo de batalla cerca del monte Carmelo. Allí condujo a todo el ejército en fila a través del estrecho desfiladero de Megido para sorprender y conquistar a una alianza de 330 príncipes asiáticos rebeldes, una osada maniobra protestada por sus aterrorizados oficiales. Sólo Tutmosis estaba seguro de su plan y cabalgó delante alzando la imagen de Amón-Ra, el Dios Sol que le había prometido la victoria.

Pitágoras

En el siglo VI a.C. fue el filósofo griego Pitágoras, el «rubio de Samos» considerado el hijo de Apolo. De joven, Pitágoras conversó libremente con sacerdotes y eruditos, buscando ansiosamente demostración científica de la ley interna que se le reveló en meditación sobre Deméter, la Madre de la Tierra. Su búsqueda de la gran síntesis de la verdad le condujo a Palestina, Arabia, India y, finalmente, a los templos de Egipto, donde se ganó la confianza de los sacerdotes de Menfis, siendo aceptado gradualmente en los misterios de Isis en Tebas.

Cuando el conquistador asiático Cambises lanzó una salvaje invasión sobre Egipto hacia 529 a.C., Pitágoras fue exiliado a Babilonia, donde el profeta Daniel aún prestaba servicio como ministro del rey. Allí los rabinos le desvelaron las enseñanzas internas del YO SOY EL QUE YO SOY entregadas a Moisés. Los magos zoroastrianos le instruyeron en música, astronomía y la ciencia sagrada de la invocación. Después de doce años, Pitágoras abandonó Babilonia y fundó una hermandad de iniciados en Crotona, un ajetreado puerto de mar dorio en el sur de Italia. Su «ciudad de los elegidos» fue una escuela de misterios de la Gran Hermandad Blanca.

En Crotona, hombres y mujeres cuidadosamente seleccionados seguían una filosofía basada en la expresión matemática de la ley universal, ilustrada en la música y en el ritmo y la armonía de un estilo de vida altamente disciplinado. Tras cinco años de noviciado en estricto silencio, los «matemáticos» pitagóricos pasaban por una serie de iniciaciones, desarrollando las facultades intuitivas del corazón por las cuales el hijo o la hija de Dios pueden llegar a ser, como afirman los Versos de Oro de Pitágoras, «un Dios divino imperecedero, ya no mortal».

Pitágoras daba sus conferencias desde detrás de una pantalla, en un lenguaje velado que podían entender completamente sólo los iniciados más avanzados. La fase más significativa de su instrucción se ocupaba del concepto fundamental que dice que el número es tanto la forma como la esencia de la creación. Formuló las partes esenciales de la geometría euclídea e hizo avanzar las ideas astronómicas que condujeron a la hipótesis de Copérnico. Está escrito que dos mil ciudadanos de Crotona renunciaron a su forma de vida habitual y se reunieron en la comunidad pitagórica bajo la sabia administración del Consejo de los Trescientos, una orden gubernamental, científica y religiosa que después ejerció una gran influencia política por toda Magna Grecia.

Pitágoras, el «infatigable adepto», tenía noventa años cuando Cilón, un candidato a la escuela de misterios rechazado, incitó una persecución violenta. En el patio de Crotona, Cilón leyó en voz alta de un libro secreto de Pitágoras, Hieros Logos (Palabra Sagrada), distorsionando y ridiculizando la enseñanza. Cuando Pitágoras y cuarenta de los más importantes miembros de la Orden estaban reunidos, Cilón prendió fuego al edificio y todos, excepto dos miembros del consejo, murieron. Esto tuvo como resultado la destrucción de la comunidad y mucho de la enseñanza original se perdió. Sin embargo, «el Maestro» ha influido en muchos grandes filósofos, como Platón, Aristóteles, Agustín, Tomás de Aquino y Francis Bacon.

Baltasar

Como Baltasar, uno de los tres Reyes Magos que siguieron la estrella de la Presencia del niño Mesías, se decía que había sido el rey de Etiopía que llevó el tesoro de su reino como regalo de incienso a Cristo, el eterno Sumo Sacerdote.

Francisco de Asís

Como Francisco de Asís (hacia 1181–1226), el divino poverello, renunció a familia y riqueza para unirse a la «Señora Pobreza», viviendo entre los pobres y los leprosos, hallando una inefable alegría al imitar la compasión de Cristo. Mientras estaba arrodillado durante la misa en la fiesta de San Matías, en 1209, escuchó el evangelio de Jesús leído por el sacerdote y la orden del Señor a sus apóstoles: «¡Id, predicad!». Francisco se marchó de la pequeña iglesia y comenzó a evangelizar y a convertir a muchos. Entre ellos se encontraba la noble Clara, que más tarde abandonaría su casa vestida como la novia de Cristo para presentarse ante Francisco para ser admitida a la orden mendicante.

Una de las muchas leyendas que rodean las vidas de Francisco y Clara describe su comida en Santa María de los Ángeles, donde Francisco habló con tanto amor de Dios que todos quedaron embelesados con Él. De repente la gente del pueblo vio el convento y el bosque en llamas. Cuando a toda prisa corrieron a apagar el incendio, vieron a la pequeña compañía envuelta en una luz brillante con los brazos levantados hacia el cielo.

Dios reveló a Francisco la Presencia divina en el «hermano Sol» y la «hermana Luna», y recompensó su devoción con los estigmas de Cristo crucificado. La oración de San Francisco la rezan gentes de todas las creencias en todo el mundo: «Señor, hazme un instrumento de tu paz…».

El Taj Mahal

Sha Jahan

Como Sha Jahan (1592–1666), emperador mogol de la India, derrocó el gobierno corrupto de su padre, Jahangir, y restauró parcialmente la noble ética de su abuelo, Akbar el Grande. Durante su iluminado reinado, el esplendor de la corte mogol alcanzó su cénit y la India entró en su era de oro en el arte y la arquitectura. Sha Jahan colmó la tesorería imperial con música, pinturas y la construcción de impresionantes monumentos, mezquitas y edificios y tronos públicos por toda la India, algunos de los cuales aún se pueden ver hoy.

El famoso Taj Mahal, «el milagro de los milagros, la última maravilla del mundo», fue construido como tumba para su amada esposa, Mumtaz Mahal. Ella había gobernado a su lado casi como una igual, y murió en 1631 dando a luz a su decimocuarto hijo. Sha Jahan no escatimó esfuerzos para construir el monumento «tan hermoso como lo era ella». Es el símbolo del principio de la Madre y celebra su amor eterno a Mumtaz.

Koot Hoomi Lal Singh

In his final embodiment, the adept Kuthumi was revered as a Kashmiri brahman, Koot Hoomi Lal Singh (also known also as Koot Hoomi and K.H.) Koot Hoomi led an extremely secluded life, affording but a fragmented record of his words and works. Born in the early nineteenth century, Mahatma Kuthumi was a Punjabi whose family had settled in Kashmir. He attended Oxford University in 1850 and is believed to have contributed “The Dream of Ravan” to The Dublin University Magazine around 1854, prior to returning to his homeland.

The Kashmiri Brahman spent considerable time in Dresden, Würzberg, Nürnberg and at the university of Leipzig, where in 1875 he visited with Dr. Gustav Fechner, the founder of modern psychology. His remaining years were spent in seclusion at his lamasery in Shigatse, Tibet, where his contact with the outside world included didactic writings sent by mail to some of his devoted students. These letters are now on file with the British Museum.

With El Morya, known as the Master M., Kuthumi founded the Theosophical Society in 1875 through Helena P. Blavatsky, commissioning her to write Isis Unveiled and The Secret Doctrine. The purpose of this activity was to reacquaint mankind with the wisdom of the ages that underlies all of the world’s religions, the inner teachings guarded in the mystery schools since the last days of Lemuria and Atlantis. This includes the doctrine of reincarnation—which, we note, Saint Francis preached in the village squares—as well as an understanding of the ascension as the goal of life sought knowingly or unknowingly by every son and daughter of God.

The Theosophical Society has published Kuthumi’s and El Morya’s letters to their students in The Mahatma Letters and other works. Kuthumi ascended at the end of the nineteenth century.

His mission today

Kuthumi is known as the master psychologist, and his assignment is to assist chelas in the resolution of their psychology. On January 27, 1985, he announced a dispensation from Lord Maitreya:

This dispensation is my assignment to work with each one of you individually for your physical health and for the healing of your psychology, that we might swiftly get to the very cause and core of physical as well as spiritual and emotional conditions that there be no more setbacks or indulgences and surely not two steps forward and one step back.

Kuthumi has given a key to understanding our psychology in his teachings on the dweller-on-the-threshold and the electronic belt. The momentums of untransmuted karma in orbit around the “nucleus” of the synthetic self (or carnal mind) form what looks like an “electronic belt” of misqualified energy around the lower portion of man’s physical body.

Diagrammed at the point of the solar plexus, extending downward in a negative spiral to below the feet, this conglomerate of human creation forms a dense forcefield resembling the shape of a kettledrum. Referred to as the realm of the subconscious or the unconscious, the electronic belt contains the records of unredeemed karma from all embodiments. At the eye of this vortex of untransmuted energy is the consciousness of the anti-self personified in the dweller-on-the-threshold, which must be slain before one can attain full Christhood.

The master can better help us if we give his mantra, “I AM Light.” This mantra is for the development of a tremendous momentum of white light and the wisdom of God. It is to bring us to the realization that God can and does dwell within us. When we draw nigh to him, he draws nigh to us, and the angelic hosts also gather for the strengthening of the aura. In his book Studies of the Human Aura, Kuthumi speaks of a threefold exercise using the “I AM Light” mantra that students can give for the purpose of strengthening the sheath of the aura so that they can maintain the consciousness of Christ, of God, of Buddha, of Mother.

God consumes my darkness,

Transmuting it into light.

This day I AM a focus of the Central Sun.

Flowing through me is a crystal river,

A living fountain of light

That can never be qualified

By human thought and feeling.

I AM an outpost of the Divine.

Such darkness as has used me is swallowed up

By the mighty river of light which I AM.

I AM, I AM, I AM light;

I live, I live, I live in light.

I AM light’s fullest dimension;

I AM light’s purest intention.

I AM light, light, light

Flooding the world everywhere I move,

Blessing, strengthening and conveying

The purpose of the kingdom of heaven.

Kuthumi gives an important key to the spiritual path in his teaching that

... the most important part of any experience you have is not what is flung your way but your reaction to it. Your reaction is the determination of your place on the ladder of attainment. Your reaction enables us to act or not to act. Your reaction to anything or everything shows us the fruit that has ripened in you from all of our prior teaching and loving and support as well as discipline....

Thus, from this hour, if you will call to me and make a determination in your heart to transcend the former self, I will tutor you both through your own heart and any messenger I may send your way. Therefore, heed the voices—not astral but physical—and watch the course of events.... Thus, I come in many guises.”

Kuthumi is hierarch of the Temple of Illumination in Kashmir, which is also known as the Cathedral of Nature.

Kuthumi’s Retreat at Shigatse, Tibet

From the focus of his etheric retreat at Shigatse, Tibet, Kuthumi plays celestial music on his organ to those who are making the transition called “death” from the physical plane to higher octaves. So tremendous is the cosmic radiation that pours through that organ—because it is keyed to the music of the spheres and an organ-focus in the City Foursquare—that souls are drawn out of the astral plane as if following a pied piper.

In this way, thousands are drawn to the retreats of the masters by the great love of this Brother of the Golden Robe. Those who are able to see Kuthumi at the moment of their passing often find peace in the certain knowing that they have seen the master Jesus, so closely do Jesus and Kuthumi resemble one another in their adoration and manifestation of the Christ.
