Chohan
Herr oder Meister; ein Oberhaupt. Jeder der Sieben Strahlen hat einen Chohan, der das Christusbewusstsein des Strahls fokussiert, welches fürwahr das Gesetz des Strahls ist, das dessen rechtmäßige Anwendung im Menschen regiert. Nachdem der Kandidat dieses Gesetz des Strahls im Laufe zahlreicher Inkarnationen verinnerlicht und bewiesen sowie Einweihungen sowohl vor als auch nach dem Aufstieg erhalten hat, wird er vom Maha Chohan, dem „Großen Herrn“, sem selbst der Vertreter des Heiligen Geistes auf allen Strahlen ist, in das Amt des Chohans berufen.
Die Arbeit der Chohans
Die Chohans werden aus den qualifiziertesten aufgestiegenen Wesen ausgewählt, die aus dem Schulzimmer der Erde hervorgegangen sind. Sie werden bei ihrer Aufgabe von Legionen von Engeln, Elementarwesen und anderen aufgestiegenen Brüdern unterstützt, die den Plan Gottes für den vollständigsten Ausdruck der sieben Strahlen ausführen, der für die Menschheit der Erde möglich ist. Die Chohans gehorchen immer dem Kosmischen Gesetz; dennoch wird ihnen, im Einklang mit ihren individuellen Evolutionen, Fähigkeiten und Gaben, ein gewisser Spielraum gewährt, um die Menschheit auf die geschickteste Weise zu leiten und jene liebevolle Unterstützung und spirituelle Führung zu geben, wie es die Erfordernis der Stunde sein mag.

Chohan may be related to the Tibetan chos (pronounced cho), meaning dharma, religious doctrine, or religion, especially the doctrine of Buddha. In a general sense, the meaning of chos encompasses all phenomena, matter, and knowledge of worldly and spiritual things. The Tibetan word jo-bo (pronounced chō) means lord or master, Buddha or the image of Buddha. The Mongolian word khan or qan (pronounced hahn) also means lord, ruler, emperor, or king. The Tibetan chos-mkhan (pronounced chĭ-kĕn or chō-kĕn) means one who practices or is skilled in the dharma.
