A Deusa Branca
A Deusa Branca é uma das muitas imagens da Mãe do Mundo. Ela é um princípio, mas também um ser vivente.
No Tibete, a Deusa Branca é especialmente amada e venerada como Tara, a salvadora. Os budistas tibetanos entendem que o mundo será salvo pela Mãe e que ela o fará no final da era do Kali Yuga.
Diz-se que Tara nasceu de um lótus que brotou em uma lágrima derramada por Avalokiteshvara, o qual, como registra o antigo texto, “percebendo que, embora tivesse removido muitos seres migrantes do samsara, eles não diminuíram, e ele chorou”. Tara é considerada a contrapartida feminina de Avalokiteshvara, ou a sua consorte divina. Assim como Kuan Yin, ela é uma bodhisattva da compaixão. O relacionamento entre Tara e Kuan Yin tem sido objeto de muita especulação. Alguns dizem que Kuan Yin é a contrapartida chinesa de Tara, enquanto outros acreditam que ambas são um único e mesmo ser.
O primeiro símbolo da Tara Branca é o lótus totalmente aberto, que representa a abertura das pétalas dos chakras. As estátuas da Deusa Branca retratam geralmente a riqueza da sua indumentária. A sua coroa e os brincos simbolizam a vida abundante do Buda e do Cristo. A Mãe simboliza que tudo no universo da Matéria pertence aos seus filhos e, portanto, esse senso de abundância faz parte de sua manifestação. Aos que renunciam, ela também mostra que a verdadeira riqueza do cosmo está nas qualidades espirituais. A Mãe é aquela que nada possui, mas tem tudo e, neste equilíbrio encontramos a disciplina do Buda.
Ela está muitas vezes sentada na posição de lótus, Padmasana, o que permite que a kundalini flua livremente. A mão esquerda descansa sobre o coração e a direita estende-se em um gesto de doação, que encarna a generosidade e a benção de toda a vida. A protuberância no alto da cabeça simboliza a abertura do chakra da coroa. As orelhas alongadas e o terceiro olho indicam o uso pleno de todos os sentidos internos. A orelha grande é um atributo de todos os Budas e revela o contato com Deus, por meio do ouvido e do som internos.
The White Tara is a manifestation of the Divine Mother, the cosmic principle of the Mother. Whether you call her Mother Mary or Isis or the White Tara of Tibet or Kuan Yin or Kali or Durga, she is still the Mother force, the shakti. She also lives within you. She is the Mother light within us all. She is ascended master and unascended master. The White Goddess is the white-fire core of our chakras as the Mother light, the Kundalini energy, the white light in the center of every ray. As you give adoration to that presence within yourself through the rosary, you are raising the energies of the Kundalini and connecting with the cosmic principle of Mother.
In a dictation with the White Goddess in 1977, Serapis said:
Precious hearts, the way of the White Tara is the way of those who see the ultimate need of humanity and are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice. Because of their sense of timing, they read the timing of the Lord. They are mathematicians with me. They are architects of a vast destiny. They see the timing of the enemy. And they know that for the game of point/counterpoint, they must be as a shaft of sacred fire, as the point of diamond, as the discipline of energy. And this is all of their joy, all of their play and laughter condensed in an intense sphere of light. Whirling in that sphere, they actually enjoy with God-delight every pleasure that other disciples take along the wider spiral.[1]
